What data do we collect?

a) Automatically collected data

When you access our websites, we automatically collect data of a general nature. This data (server log files) includes, for example, the type of browser you are using, your operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider and other similar general data. This data is completely anonymous and is used to display the website correctly and is retrieved every time you use the Internet. The absolutely anonymous data is statistically evaluated in order to improve our service for you.

In concrete terms, this means that when you visit our website, technical data is automatically collected, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL (the previously visited page)
  • Date and time of the server request

b) Data provided by you

If you actively contact us or register for one of our services, e.g. via contact form or email, register for a webinar or download ebooks or whitepapers, etc., this data will be stored for the purpose of processing your request. In this case, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your company (for which you work)
  • Your telephone number (if provided)
  • Other information you provide voluntarily

What do we use your data for?

We only use your data when it is necessary to:

  • provide our website and its functions
  • answer inquiries or provide services
  • Create statistics to optimize our website (anonymized data)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will never use your data for other purposes or sell it to third parties without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve the user experience. These small text files are stored on your device and help us to analyze and optimize the behavior of the website.

You can deactivate the use of cookies in your browser settings. However, please note that without cookies, certain functions of our website may be restricted.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, the web analysis service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", small text files that are stored on your computer and store data on the use of our website. The data generated by the cookie about the use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As IP anonymization is activated on our websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google. This applies to member states of the European Union and other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In rare cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports for us on the use of the website and to collect further statistical data. Your IP address will never be merged with other data stored on Google. The use of cookies can be prohibited by a setting in your browser; however, this may impair the function of our website under certain circumstances. You can deactivate the collection of data by Google Analytics using a special add-on program for your browser.

You can object to the collection and use of your IP address by Google Analytics at any time with effect for the future. You can find more information on this under the following link.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website by clicking on a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a conversion tracking cookie on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and website visitors are not identified. Within the 30-day period, we and Google can determine that the user initially clicked on the ad to land on our site. Google AdWords cookies are customer-specific and cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected with conversion cookies is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. This tells customers how many users have used an ad to visit their site. Users' personal data is not transmitted.

Those who do not wish to participate in tracking can specify this in the browser settings. The automatic setting of cookies can generally be deactivated or you can set your browser so that googleleadservices.com cookies are always blocked.

Opt-out cookies must not be deleted if you wish to refuse the recording of measurement data. If you delete the cookies in your browser, all opt-out cookies must be set again.

Use of the SalesViewer® technology

This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH to collect and store data for marketing, market research and optimization purposes on the basis of the website operator's legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

A javascript-based code is used for this purpose, which is used to collect company-related data and the corresponding use. The data collected using this technology is encrypted using a non-reversible one-way function (known as hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymized and not used to personally identify the visitor to this website.

The data stored as part of Salesviewer® is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations.

You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future by clicking on this link https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out to prevent the collection by SalesViewer® within this website in the future. An opt-out cookie for this website will be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again.
